Reviews and testimonials

Custom Carpentry &Design did a great job with my new deck. Axel and his team were efficient and completed the work well. I highly recommend this company.

Thank you Axel and team for a fantastic job on our terrace balcony revamp. Axel has been professional throughout from quote to completion despite new challenges popping up and able to think creatively on his feet to get the job done!

I first met Axel when he was doing work for a neighbour. I asked him to quote for a small job which turned out to be an enormous renovation. There were many complications and he calmly explained each step in resolving problems that came up. He is meticulous and he is justifiably proud of his work so I can confidently recommend him to anyone requiring carpentry work. And to top it off he is a thoroughly nice and decent person.

A project designed by a fusspot client using 5 star materials calls for a carpenter with 5 star expertise and patience.

Custom Carpentry & Design delivers – a challenging deadline and constant discussion with the team leader Axel was reassuring, good humoured, adaptable and professional. He thinks like a designer and works like a Trojan. The exactitude of Axel’s work speaks for itself, so all I can say is that he and his people are easily the most easy-going, diligent carpenters (did I mention CLEAN?) that I’ve ever worked with. Highly recommended.

Axel is very helpful, friendly and punctual. He did some parts of my kitchen and laundry room. He takes his work seriously. Why I like to give him my Reno projects was because he is reliable and dependable.

Axel and Joe recently replaced our laundry door along with other jobs, such as sealing gaps and fixing doors. They arrived on time, did a fabulous job and left the side of the house where they were working tidier than they found it! The cost was also very reasonable. We’re currently compiling a new list of jobs for Axel. Also need to stress that Axel was the only one who offered to come to our house to properly cost the jobs. Quotes from other carpenters were based on photos I sent.

Very Professional, always punctual and especially patient; the guys from Custom Carpentry & Design did an amazing job renovating our bathroom and toilet of our rental apartment. We had a few delays along the way but that was more than made up for with the little extras they did for us and of course the awesome end result! They were especially respectful of our cat who is often nervous around strangers and always made sure that she was safe and comfortable! Thanks guys!
